In 1994, Kurt Warner got cut from the Green Bay Packers before the regular season even started. With bills to pay and a family to support, Kurt took a job stocking shelves at a grocery store, making $5.50 an hour on the night shift.
The quarterback later described a moment when he literally had a conversation with a cereal box while at work. That conversation set everything in motion as he joined the Arena Football League’s Iowa Barnstormers, played in NFL Europe, and finally landed with the St. Louis Rams in 1998.
